INSTALLATION 'NODE15 ClinK'
ClinK was exhibited as an interactive audio installation at NODE - Forum for Digital Arts from April 27th – May 3rd 2015. NODE gathered designers, creative coders and digital artists for the 4th edition of the biennial festival for creative explorations of technologies. With the Leitmotif ‘Wrapped in Code – the future of the informed body’, NODE15 was devoted to the negotiation of the body and its fusion with technology.
The large installation consisting of 30 speakers in a handcrafted dome construction enables its visitors to explore the 3D audio environment with their body movements. Each body and its dynamic attributes were directly transformed into predictable audio feedback.
The project is realized with the multipurpose toolkit vvvv and the object orientated Spatial Sound Wave 3D-Sound-System by Fraunhofer IDMT.
