Felix is our sounddesigner and audio engineer specialized in 3D Audio applications and productions.
His passion is recording, composing and designing unique sounds and music for spatialized szenarios. He is planning and operating 3D soundsystems live for concerts and venues and is part of the management of Wisp.
Paul Schengber is creative coder, audiovisual artist and founder of the Wisp Collective. He is exploring innovative new media formats, dealing with future technologies and bridging disciplines.Schengbers concepts and works intersect design, arts, technology, science and philosophy and create endless generative visual patterns in which one can easily lose themself; strange, digital, algorithmic worlds.In his works he explores the influence of image and sound on emotions, the narrative and remembrance power of the audiovisual phenomenon and its enormous impact on perception of space.
David Simmons is an audio engineer and moviemaker.
As part of the Wisp Kollektiv he engages in the Fields of immersive Audio, sounddesign, project realization and is responsible for the project-documentation.
Emma Chapuy is creative coder, video artist and scenograph with a strong background in theatre. In her current works she creates fictive virtual realities as environment to transfer certain emotions.Chapuy gives silent and void 3D worlds voices through poetry and develops moments of consciousness about our human being and humane way-with compassion.She is exploring innovative new media formats as dramaturgic tools to experiment with the different ways of perceiving room together with spoken word.
What we do
"Wisp Collective" brings a network, consisting of individual international artists, art collectives, communities, research institutes and universities together in form of collaborations, festivals for digital art, workshops, exhibitions and music label.
"Wisp Lab" was founded by Felix Deufel and Paul Schengber with focus on 3D audio, realtime motion-graphics and the creative interaction between both fields.
We are actually developing an user friendly vst audio plugin as tool for a creative control of 3D audio productions and live spatialization.
